NNPC meets marketers as petrol scarcity bites harder.

The shortage of premium motor spirit, also known as petrol, has continued to spread across many states and resurfaced in Abuja on Wednesday after briefly disappearing. Ship rent soars by 163% to $108,000.
It got worse, among other places, in Lagos, Ogun, and Ekiti.
Oil marketers attributed this to the 163% increase in the cost of renting daughter vessels to transport products from mother vessels, pointing out that this had impacted the purchasing power of many dealers.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited’s decrease in PMS supply, the inability to obtain official foreign currency, and the ongoing PMS subsidy, among other factors, contributed to the scarcity.
