Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi said ahead of the February 25, 2023 presidential election, of all the qualities he has, the most important is being trustworthy. “The fact that Nigerians can trust me is my greatest asset.” In a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle @Peter Obi on Sunday, the LP presidential candidate said we should not settle for less so as not to repeat
past mistakes against Nigerians. I repeated my previous warning to avoid falling into the trap.obi said:”We can no longer bet on our destiny or our future. I am running for president because I am eligible. “I have the ability, reliability, dedication, stamina, leadership experience and track record. More importantly, Nigerians can trust me. ” He explained that as it stands, Nigeria is only working for the very few at the expense of the majority. Obi says: But no Nigerians. “Right now Nigeria is working for very few people. Nigeria must work for all Nigerians. “Nigerian people need to feel safe and secure wherever they are. This is the government’s first duty.”The former governor of Anambra state said the desire of Nigerians to take back their country is complete and unanimous because everyone wants a better life. According to him, “the desire to retake Nigeria is almost unanimous. “We may be accustomed to the old order, but we cannot vote for corruption, ruthlessness, impunity and the continuation of poverty. Nigerians want a better life.” Obi said the damage done to the Nigerian psyche by a series of bad leaders was so great that “Nigeria desperately needs a reformist leader. “Bad leadership has hurt us deeply, damaged our spirits, and reduced our possibilities and dreams.”
