Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed said he had close ties with the affected PDP governors.

Muhammad said on Wednesday that he shared his fears and concerns with the governor during the visit when the complaining governor conducted a solidarity visit in Bauchi. We welcomed counterparts from Benue and Enugu states: Nyesom Wike, Okezy Ikpeazu, Samuel Ortom and Ifeanyi Ugwanyi.

It has been firmly established that the
governors will meet in Enugu on Saturday to witness the launch of the PDP campaign council for the state.

Mohammed is scheduled to attend the Enugu Conference, where he will officially join a group of offended governors.

Governor Otom’s senior adviser confided to the correspondent that the sole purpose of the visit of the five governors was to lure Muhammad into their flock.

In an address to the media just before leaving for the conference, the governors said they were the backbone of the party and added they were open to reconciliation.

Muhammad thanked the governors for their visit and said that he was with them and that they had “excommunicated” him.
